This is thick, luscious and deeply moisturizing to the skin, as animal fats are readily absorbed into our animal flesh much faster and deeper than plant seed oils. Very limited & rare.

This is a limited edition body butter made from slow rendered black bear fat, and mixed with deer tallow and camelina seed oil infused with Bear’s favorite botanicals: Angelica leaves and flowers, lady’s bedstraw, mugwort, violet leaves, and cleavers + a little intentionally sourced vetiver for fragrance and to continue the overall profile of moving lymph. Working with the lymph system is a dance with the subtleties of our bodies, truly a powerhouse practice: healthy lymph flow is pretty much integral to every part of our body’s functions. This body butter is thick, luscious and soothing to dry skin, joints, and skin’s natural elasticity.

Rendered Early Fall Black Bear Fat, Cold Pressed Organic Camelina Seed Oil, Sitka Blacktail Deer Tallow & Cold Pressed Organic Sunflower Oil, Alpine Harvested Angelica leaves and flowers, Lady’s Bedstraw, Mugwort, Violet Leaves, garden grown Cleavers, intentionally sourced organic Vetiver oil, and house rendered Beeswax from our backyard apiary.

As a moisturizer: Apply desired amount on warm, better yet freshly dry-brushed, skin and rub gently into body moving from lower body up, always flourishing towards the direction of your heart.
As a deep treatment: Dry brush skin moving towards heart, apply as described above, and then take a bath, sit in a sauna, or use heating pad to assist in penetration.

All offerings are made in high quality UV-resistant Miron Glas. Each bottle has a batch number, and a ‘bottled on date’listing the month & year. The basic shelf life is 1-2 years. The offerings shared here are made with care and various techniques to increase shelf life, however once the product is in your home how it is cared for can make a big difference.
